Former Lotte pitcher Seo Jun-won (23), who is on trial for sexual exploitation, admitted to committing the crime even though he knew the victim was a minor.

According to legal sources, the Busan District Court Criminal Division 5 (Chief Judge Jang Jong-seok) held a second hearing on Thursday for Seo Jun-won, who was charged with violating the Act on Sexual Protection of Children and Adolescents, including producing and distributing sexually exploitative material.메이저사이트

At the first hearing on the 31st of last month, Seo Jun-won admitted to most of the facts of the indictment, but claimed that he was not aware that the victim was a minor at the time of the crime.

However, in today’s hearing, he changed his tune. He admitted to all of the indictment facts that he had previously denied. He said he knew she was a minor.

Last year, Seo was accused of producing sexual exploitation of children and adolescents by having a woman he met through social media take and send him nude photos. The fact that the woman was a minor came as a huge shock.

Seo was released by Lotte in March after his offense was discovered, and he was suspended by the Korean Baseball Organization (KBO).

Seo, who was drafted in the first round in 2019, has a career record of 15-23 with a 5.56 ERA in 123 games in the KBO.

His next hearing will be held on July 19.
