The Incheon United team could not hide their excitement at the enthusiastic support of the fans. 

On the 19th, Incheon held a launch ceremony for the 2023 season at the Songdo Global Campus Auditorium in Incheon. Incheon CEO Jeon Jeon-soo, coach Cho Seong-hwan, and all members of the club, including players, gathered.

It was the first ceremony held in four years due to the outbreak of Corona 19. To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the founding and advancing to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League (ACL) last year, Incheon held a launch ceremony of the highest scale ever. Fans also responded. 1,800 seats were sold out. 

Fans and players breathed together for the first time before the 2023 season. Before the official event, fans had a meaningful time holding the uniforms they had brought and receiving autographs from the players.

In the first part of the event, the fans were together with the introduction of the players, greetings from CEO Jeon Dal-soo and coach Cho Seong-hwan ahead of the new season, announcement of uniforms for the 2023 season, and appointment ceremony for the captains. In the second part, the players showed off their dancing skills and provided spectacle to the fans.

Fans who filled the seats repeatedly cheered enthusiastically in the event that lasted for more than two hours. The team showed their excitement at the launch ceremony on a completely different scale than before.

Shin Jin-ho, who wore the uniform of Pagum (blue + black) this season, said, “I have never had a ceremony like this in my career as a player. My heart boils because so many fans came. What our players prepared in the pre-season, we want to give back to you on the pitch. I will see you at the stadium with a good game.” 메이저놀이터

Captain Oh Ban-seok said, “It feels real to start the season because so many fans came to the ceremony. We ask for your passionate support this year as well. I will repay the love the players have sent me.”

Vice-captain Lee Myung-joo also said, “I am grateful that many fans came to the ceremony before the start of the season. I can feel the passionate support of the fans even before the season starts.” 

Incheon, who has made up their mind for the new season with their fans, will play the opening game against FC Seoul at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on the 25th.
