The Korea Basketball Association has announced the roster of the men’s national basketball team for the Olympic and Asian Games.
“The Performance Enhancement Committee has finalized 16 players and 24 national team reserves for the 2023 FIBA Olympic Pre-Qualifiers and Hangzhou Asian Games,” the KBA said on Saturday. The Olympic Pre-Qualifiers will be held in August and the Asian Games in September.
The squad, led by head coach Choo Il-seung, includes Kim Sun-hyung and Oh Se-geun (SK), as well as Heo Hoon (Commerce) and Ra Gun-ah (KCC). Yeo Jun-seok (Gonzaga University) and Lee Hyun-jung, whose contract with the Santa Cruz Warriors of the G League, the lower division of the National Basketball Association (NBA), has expired, were also named to the reserve roster.
