Lydia Ko (New Zealand), a Korean player who is getting married at Myeongdong Cathedral in Seoul on the 30th, kept her first place in the women’s golf world rankings. 

Lydia Ko returned to the top of the women’s golf world rankings after 5 years and 5 months.

Lydia Ko returned to the top spot in the 메이저놀이터 women’s golf world rankings compiled on the 29th of last month after 5 years and 5 months. Her most recent number one was last June 2017.

Lydia Ko filled the season with her third victory by winning the CME Group Tour Championship of the LPGA Tour last month, and achieved the ‘Triple Crown’, which ranks first in player of the year, prize money, and average at bats. 

Lydia Ko will marry Jung Joon, the son of Hyundai Card Vice Chairman Chung Tae-young, at Myeongdong Cathedral in Seoul on the 30th. 

Nellie Koda (USA), Ataya Titikkun (Thailand), Lee Min-ji (Australia), and Ko Jin-young (27) maintained their world rankings from 2nd to 5th.

There are three Korean players in the top 10 in the world rankings: Ko Jin-young, 8th ranked Jeon In-ji (28), and 9th ranked Kim Hyo-joo (27).

Among the players on the KLPGA tour, Park Min-ji (24) ranked 14th, the highest.

Lee Jung-min (30), who won a total of 10 wins on the Korean Women’s Professional Golf (KLPGA) tour, was ranked 140th.

Lee Jung-min was ranked 140th in her world rankings on the 19th, up 52 places from last week’s 192nd.

Lee Jung-min won the KLPGA Tour PLK Pacific Rings Korea Championship, which ended in Binh Duong, Vietnam on the 18th, and achieved 10 victories in her tour career.

Choi Ye-rim (23), who finished second in the tournament and became runner-up for the fifth time without winning the regular tour, rose 20 places from 123rd to 103rd.
