Siwoo Kim is off to a strong start at the Charles Schwab Challenge on the U.S. Professional Golf Association (PGA) Tour.

The South Korean shot a 3-under 67 in the first round of the tournament at the par-70 Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas, U.S., on Monday (July 26). He combined five birdies and two bogeys to cut three strokes off his score and is tied for seventh place. He is five strokes behind leader Harry Hall (England). Byung-hoon Ahn also got off to a strong start with a 3-under 67. After missing last week’s PGA Championship, Ahn is tied for seventh after the first day of play and has a great chance to earn his third top-10 finish of the season.

Sungjae Im, who missed the cut at last week’s PGA Championship, finished the first round with a 2-over-par 72 (tied for 82nd).
