The gaze of local media toward Son Heung-min (31, Tottenham) has changed.

Tottenham won 3-0 in the round of 32 of the 2022-23 FA Cup against Preston (Championship) held at Deepdale Stadium in Preston, England on the 29th (Korean time). Tottenham have reached the FA Cup round of 16. 

The first contributor to victory was Son Heung-min. Son Heung-min, who started as a forward striker that day, teamed up with Ivan Perisic and Dejan Kulusevski. Son Heung-min boasted good condition from the first half. When Tottenham struggled against Preston’s dense defense, Son Heung-min threatened the goal with a menacing shot.

Another media outlet, 90MIN, also gave 9 points, saying, “Son Heung-min looked more energetic than in his recent appearances.” Both media gave Son Heung-min the highest rating. 

Son Heung-min was silent in four official games after tasting a goal against Crystal Palace on the 4th. Since he had been scoreless before the match against Palace, fierce criticism continued towards him. The look of suspicion deepened. In the league match against Fulham just before, he was criticized even after recording an assist.  먹튀검증

Tottenham will play the 22nd round of the English Premier League (EPL) home game against Manchester City, the defending champion, on the 6th of next month. Son Heung-min challenges to earn goals in his first two consecutive games of the season and offensive points in three consecutive games.
